NEW POKHARA LODGE LAKESIDE, POKHARA NEPAL

    Millions of people travel thousands of miles  in the search of Heaven or Paradise on Earth ,fully unaware of the existence of a corner of real paradise. Pokhara valley is situated at an altitude of 827 meters from sea level. This is one of the picturesque spots of Nepal. Its lovely lakes and mountains enhance the beauty of the valley. Pokhara is situated 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu. It is linked by Air and by road from Kathmandu and the Indian border Sunauli. Pokhara offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, Manaslu, five peaks of Annapurna and others.This is one of the few places in the world to provide such a dramatic view in a sub-tropical setting. The nearest snow-capped mountain, Fishtail, is less then 30 kilometers from Pokhara. Pokhara's numerous lakes offer fishing, boating and swimming.

New Pokhara Lodge  is situated in the heart of Pokhara's largest Lake Fewa.  Sufficiently set back from the main road to guarantee peace quite & privacy, there are just 16 rooms all with attached tiled toilets and 24 hours hot and cold running water. The lodge built around one of the best gardens in Pokhara. There is a sun terrace from where the mountains to the north or Lake Water to the south may be viewed and you can get a cold beer or a hot cup of coffee while you relax. All the rooms have wall to wall carpeting and are tastefully decorated. Each room is equipped with cable TV broadcasting more then 30 channels including HBO, Cinemax,  Star Movies, CNN, BBC, Tens sports, Star Sports, AXN, Mtv, Channel [V], Now, Star World , CNtv, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, India's Doordarshan, Zee Cinema, including other top Indian channels  and Nepal television. Long distance phoning, fax and E-mail service are also available. Should we be hit by a sudden power cut, you won't be left in the dark! We have a generator on standby.

Mahendra Adhikari and his family owned this property since 1994 and still managing it. Some tourists who were here before were happy to meet Mahendra again. Tourist who have visited this lodge like to come back and stay again. Lots of visitor have written excellent comments and recommendations in the lodge's guest book about their stay, food, the service and behavior of staffs. The lodge is family run establishment, the service is quite informal and unobtrusive. If there is any thing you need whether it's information or wanting to explore the valley, how to have your clothes laundered, where to eat, all you have to do is just ask one of the brother Mahendra or Jagannath. One or other is sure to be around, happy to be of assistance in making your visit just that much more of a memorable experience.

Breakfast and lunch is served in the garden or in the sun terrace-your choice, Dinner is served in the Dining hall. And we have got a marvelous Fireplace for the winter season.
